She was born in Iran, and grew up in Norway and studied in Australia from where she obtained her bachelors and Masters degrees respectively. Negar's parents hail from the city of Piranshahr which is located in north-western Iran.
Negar Khan who shot to fame with her scantily clad appearance in an Indian language video entitled 'Chadti Jawani' remix video and numbers in Indian movies entitled Rudraksh and Shaadi Ka Laddoo. She achieved controversy for having posed topless on the cover of a leading Norwegian men's magazine Vi Menn Khan claimed that the picture had been tactfully altered.
Khan also appeared in an Indian film entitled Double Cross, in which she played a seductive pole dancer. In preparation for her role, Khan took pole dancing classes in London.
Negar Khan also played the role of Jerry's Italian daughter in the Italian movie Vita smeralda by Jerry Calà (2006)
Negar Khan used to be married to an indian actor named sahil but quickly divorced him after discovering he was gay.
